We operate the website bgremover.pro. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you use BGRemover, how your images are handled, and your rights regarding that information. By using BGRemover you agree to the practices described here.
What we collect
Images you upload
When you upload an image, it is processed by our AI background-removal model and the result is delivered straight back to your browser. Your image is not stored in any database. We do not sell, share, or use your images for model training.
Your gallery of past results lives in your browser's local storage and cache, not on our servers. Clearing your browser's site data resets your gallery; using a different browser or device shows you a fresh, empty gallery.
Device identifier
To power the gallery (so you see your own previous results, not someone else's), BGRemover generates a short, anonymous device identifier from your browser's User-Agent and IP address. This identifier is stored in a session cookie. It is not linked to any personal data and is not shared with third parties.
Browser local storage
Some gallery metadata is stored in your browser's localStorage for offline access and
faster repeat visits. This data lives only on your device and can be cleared at any time from your
browser settings.
Server logs
Like virtually every website, our server records standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, User-Agent) for security and abuse-prevention purposes. Logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and then automatically deleted.
What we don't do
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not ask for your email address.
- We do not run third-party analytics SDKs that fingerprint you across sites.
- We do not run advertising trackers.
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
- We do not use your images to train AI models.
Cookies
BGRemover uses a single session cookie (session) to maintain the per-device gallery. We do
not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the
site will still work but your gallery will reset.
Image retention
Your images live in your browser, not in our database. Your gallery is held in your browser's local storage and cache, so deleting an image from the gallery (or clearing your browser data) removes it immediately. You stay in control of your own files at all times.
Children's privacy
BGRemover is a general-audience tool. It does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information in error, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we process about you, request deletion of any data tied to your device identifier, and opt out of any future feature that would change how your data is handled. Reach out via our contact page for any privacy-related request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of BGRemover after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
